Never pour liquids over electrical devices and never place objects filled
with liquid on top of them (e. g. vases). You run the risk of causing a fire
or a fatal electric shock. If this is the case, de-energise the appropriate
mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker and RCD) and then remove
the mains plug from the mains socket. Disconnect all cables from the de-
vice. The product must no longer be used after that; take it to a specialist
workshop.
Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
Make sure the device is adequately ventilated when in operation. Do not
cover the ventilation holes with magazines, table cloths, curtains etc.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying wa-
ter, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
Do not place open flames such as burning candles on the device.
Consult a professional, if you are unsure how the equipment operates or
how to connect it safely.
Never leave the device on unattended.
Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, and avoid a tropical envi-
ronment.
Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous
plaything for children.

of this operating manual.

that are connected to this device.
If you are not sure how to connect the device correctly or if questions
arise which are not covered by the operating instructions, please do not
hesitate to contact our technical support or a specialist.
Mains Connection
Before plugging in the mains plug make sure the voltage indicated on the
device is compatible with the mains voltage available. Do not connect the
device if the data doesn’t match the available mains voltage. An incorrect
supply voltage will cause serious damage.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains
voltage can cause fatal electric shocks.
The mains socket, to which the device is connected, must be easily acces-
sible, so it can be quickly isolated from the mains voltage in the event of a
fault.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and profes-
sional way to prevent accidents.
Connect the supplied power cable with the mains connector on the rear panel of the
device.
Plug the power plug into a wall outlet of the public power supply.
The toggle switch ON/OFF is used to turn the speaker on or off.
Position ON: Device is turned on.
Position OFF: Device is switched off.
When the unit is on, a beep is audible and the LED on the device’s rear panel flashes
slowly.

Intended use
The BT speaker is used for music playback over coupled Bluetooth
®
devices.
This product is only approved for connection to 100-240 V/50/60 Hz alternating current.
Devices that are equipped with a USB charging or power supply socket can be
charged or operated with the additional USB output.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations, hence don’t use outdoors.
Contact with moisture, for example in bathrooms or the like, must be avoided.
Any other use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and
will expose you to additional risks, such as short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted!

Safety Instructions
First, read the complete operating instructions carefully, as they contain
important information about proper operation of the device.
Damage due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the

We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such
cases any warranty/guarantee will be null and void.
For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to
the product is not permitted.
The appliance has been constructed according to protection class II. Only
a proper mains socket (100-240 V/50/60 Hz) of the public grid may be used
as voltage source.
Check the device for damage frequently. If you notice any damage, don’t
use the product anymore. Take it to a specialist workshop.
Make sure the mains cable is not pinched, bent, damaged by sharp edges
or otherwise subjected to mechanical strain. Avoid excess thermal stress
on the mains cable due to excess heat or cold. Do not modify the mains
cable. If not adhered to, this may damage the mains cable. A damaged
mains cable can result in a life-threatening electric shock.
Do not touch, when the mains cable is damaged. First, switch off the ap-
propriate mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker and the
RCD) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
In order to completely disconnect the device from the mains, unplug the
main power plug from the wall socket. It is not sufficient to turn the device
off by the on/off switch.
This product is not a toy; it is not suitable for children. Children are not
aware of the potential dangers involved when using electrical devices.
