• ThemaximumtotalloadofbothUSBportsis2.1A.Thecurrentconsumptionoftheconnecteddevice(s)mustnot
exceed this value.
• If the product turns off automatically due to an error, perform the following steps to reset it: Disconnect it from the
cigarette lighter, remove the microSD card (if inserted) and unplug all USB devices and auxiliary devices. Plug the
product back into the cigarette lighter to complete the reset process. If the product overheated before it switched
off, let it cool down before using it again.
You can use the product when the engine is on or off. However, avoid starting the engine while the product
isconnected,asthismaybrieycutoffthepowersupplytothecigarettelighter(thismaynotapplytoall
vehicle models). Using the product for prolonged periods when the engine is switched off may discharge
the vehicle battery.
b) Playing music
You can use the transmitter to play music through your car's speakers.
• Insert the cigarette lighter plug (1) into your car's cigarette lighter socket.
• Insert a compatible microSD card into the microSD card slot (2) and/or insert a USB storage device (e.g. USB stick)
into one of the USB ports.
• Connect an external audio source (e.g. a portable CD player with an analogue output) to the 3.5 mm jack socket
using the 3.5 mm auxiliary cable provided.
• If desired, connect another USB device (e.g. mobile device) to the other USB port. You can play compatible audio
lesfromanyofthethreeinputs.Playbackwillstartautomaticallywhenadeviceisdetected.
• Toswitchtoanotheraudiosource(USBstoragedevice,microSDcardoranalogueinput),pressandholdtheplay/
pause button (7).
• Select a suitable reception frequency on your car radio (ideally a frequency without a strong signal from a radio
station). Select the same frequency on the transmitter. For details on how to change the reception frequency, refer
to the instructions that came with your car radio.
• Tosetthefrequencyonthetransmitter,pressandholdtherewindorfast-forwardbuttons(6).Thefrequencywill
ashontheLCDdisplay(4).Releasetherewind/fast-forwardbuttonandpressitagaintodecrease/increasethe
transmission frequency from 87.5 - 108.0 MHz.
c) Controlling audio playback
• Do not allow the volume on your car radio to be excessive, otherwise the sound may be distorted.
• TheselectedfrequencyisindicatedontheLCDdisplay.Pressandholdtheplay/pausebutton(7)."SO"andthe
track number will be displayed alternately.
• Press and hold the rewind or fast-forward button (6) to skip between tracks.
• Presstheplay/pausebuttontopauseplayback.The"II"symbolwillappearontheLCDdisplay(4).Presstheplay/
pause button again to continue playback.
Thetransmitterautomaticallyremembersthemostrecenttransmissionfrequencyandaudiotrack.When
you turn the transmitter on, playback resumes from the same track on the same transmission frequency.
