Use for room monitoring
The headphones can also be used for room monitoring. In this mode, the sound from the room in which the charging/
transmission station is located is transmitted to the headphones wirelessly.
• Connect the enclosed microphone to the MIC IN connection (2) on the charging/transmission station.
With this transmission type, the sound from the TV device (if on) is transmitted to the headphones together
with the sound picked up by the microphone.
Use as an amplier
Theheadphonescanalsobeusedasanamplier.Inthismode,thesoundfromthesurroundingsispickedupthe
microphoneandampliedbytheheadphones.
• Connect the enclosed microphone to the MIC IN connection (17) on the headphones.
With this transmission type, the indicators on the headphones switch on automatically. The headphones
must also be switched on in this operating mode.
9. Operation
Adjust the volume on the headphones with the VOL control (11) to a minimum before putting them on as
too high a volume brings the risk of hearing damage.
Switching on and establishing a connection
• Switch the charging/transmission station on with the ON/OFF switch (5).
• ThePOWER/CHARGEindicator(7)onthecharging/transmissionstationlightsupgreen.
• If an audio signal is detected at one of the connections (MIC IN (2) or AUDIO IN (3)), the AUX/MIC IN indicator (8)
also lights up green. If there is no audio signal available (or if the volume set too low), the AUX/MIC IN (8) indicator
lights up yellow.
• Switch the headphones on by sliding the ON/OFF switch (12) to the ON position. When the headphones are
switchedon,theSTANDBYindicator(9)lightsupredbrieyandgoesoutwhenawirelesssignalisdetected.
• ThePAIRindicator(10)lightsupbluewhenaconnectionhasbeenestablishedbetweentheheadphonesand
charging/transmission station. If no wireless signal was detected, the STANDBY indicator (9) lights up red continu-
ously.
• Put the headphones on and adjust the volume with the VOL control (11) as desired.
