8. Set-up
When selecting the set-up location, take the room layout into consideration (e.g., location of the nearest socket, etc.).
Also keep in mind, when selecting the set-up location, the need to avoid proximity to direct sunlight, vibration, dust, hot
and cold temperatures and dampness. Keep the device away from powerful transformers or motors.
Do not drill extra holes or screw any extra screws for mounting purposes into the case. This will damage
the device.
Make suretheapplianceis placedonastable surface;devicescanfall andtherebycauseunwanted
accidents.
In view of the variety of paints and polishes used for furniture, the base of the device may leave visible
residues on the furniture it is placed on caused by a chemical reaction. Therefore, do not place the device
on the surface of valuable furniture without appropriate protection.
Place the device on an even, level surface that can bear its weight.
9. Connection
a) Electric connection
The mains socket to which the power adapter is connected must be near the device and easily accessible,
so that the device can be quickly and easily isolated from the mains power supply in the event of any fault.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the power unit corresponds with the mains voltage of your power
supply. Never try to operate the power supply at a different voltage.
Be careful when handling the power adapters and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause fatal
electric shocks.
Donotleavethecablestrailingfree;routetheminanorderlyandprofessionalmannertopreventaccidents.
Connect the low-voltage plug of the power adapter to the connection DC IN 5V (12).
Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.
