b) Rechargeable batteries
The built-in rechargeable batteries cannot be removed and can only be charged in
the enclosed charging station. Do not attempt to remove the rechargeable batter-
ies to charge them with an external charger.
Use only the USB interface of a USB power supply or a USB port of a computer
to supply with power the charging station. A different charging current will cause
damage to the charging station and the built-in rechargeable batteries to overheat
or ignite (risk of explosion!).
Do never throw the charging station or the headphones into re. There is a risk of
re and explosion!
If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries,
you may suffer burns. Thus, you should use suitable protective gloves.
The liquids leaking from the rechargeable batteries are chemically very aggres-
sive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be consider-
ably damaged.

Charging the integrated rechargeable batteries
Each headphone has its own built-in rechargeable battery. In addition, the charging station
also has its own rechargeable battery, so that the headphones can be recharged once without
power supply via the USB port (7). However, in order to save energy, the LEDs indicator (1)
does not light up during this charging mode.
The USB port at which the charging station is charged must have a power rating of
at least 500 mA. This is normally assured at every USB port on computers. However,
the device can also be charged with power supplies that feature a USB output.
Before using the device for the rst time, the built-in rechargeable batteries must
be fully charged. The charging time in case of at rechargeable batteries is approx.
1 hour.
Charge the rechargeable batteries on a regular basis, even if the headphones are
not used (at least once a month). Otherwise, it may lead to a deep discharge of the
rechargeable batteries, thus making those permanently unusable.
Charging of the headphones’ rechargeable batteries via the built-in rechargeable
batteries of the charging station is the same as the charging via a USB power sup-
ply, but the USB charging cable is not attached.
Insert the headphones into the charging trays (5) of the charging station (4) and close the
cover of the charging station (4).
The cover of the charging station presses the headphones on the charging contacts
(6) and must therefore be closed during charging process.
Connect the enclosed USB charging cable to the USB port (7).
Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into the USB port of a computer or into a suit-
able USB power supply port.
During charging, the LEDs indicator (1) on the headphones and the LED indicator on the
charging station (4) are red.
As soon as the rechargeable batteries of the headphones are fully charged, the LEDs indica-
tor (1) of the respective rechargeable battery goes out. However, the LED indicator on the
charging station remains lit as long as the USB power supply is present.
Disconnect the USB charging cable when the charging process is complete.
The operating time with a rechargeable battery charging is about 4.5 hours (at 50% volume).
