General safety instructions for tablet stands
Dear customer,
Tablet stands provide enhanced ergonomics and protect against theft when they are equipped
with a locking mechanism.
Depending on the model, the tablet height and position can be adjusted and you can rotate/
turn the tablet to suit your needs.
There are a few important safety instructions which must be observed during installation, so
please read the following sections carefully.
General information
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material unattended, as it may become a dangerous toy for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity
and moisture.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorized
use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
Check the contents of the packaging before assembling the product. Do not assemble the
product if any parts are missing.
Depending on the design, the tablet stand can be xed to a oor or placed on a table.
The rubber feet on free-standing tablet stands may produce scratch marks on sensitive
surfaces. Protect such surfaces using a suitable mat.
The product may move when it is placed on a surface/table, even if it has rubber feet. You
may need to use a self-adhesive strip to prevent slipping.
Installing the product in an unsuitable location may lead to personal injury or damage to
property!
The tablet stand is only designed for use in sheltered indoor spaces, unless otherwise stated.
Plan the mounting location carefully so that the tablet stand will be located in the desired
position once you have nished mounting it.
Proceed with care when assembling and installing the product. The product has sharp edges
which have the potential to cause injury!
Only carry out the work necessary to mount (or adjust) the tablet stand. Never attempt to
dismantle, convert or repair the tablet stand.
Before beginning the installation process, check that your tablet ts into the clamp on the
stand. If not, consult a technician for advice.
Work on a clean, soft and dry surface. Protect valuable furniture using a suitable pad or cloth.
Ensure that you use the correct screws when xing the stand in place. The screws for the
tablet stand are usually included, but you may need to purchase other screws (depending
on the product).
Do not attach the stand to unsuitable oor surfaces. Thin or laminate ooring is normally
unsuitable. However, special parts are sometimes available for these types of surfaces. If in
doubt, contact a specialist before assembling the product.
Do not use any force when tightening screws, otherwise you may damage the tablet stand
and void the warranty!
Carefully mount/place the product according to the instructions, otherwise the tablet stand
may cause injury or damage to property if it falls off the installation surface.
Ensure that no unauthorized persons are present when mounting the product.
Ensure that no cables or wires are damaged when drilling holes or tightening screws.
Accidentally drilling into electrical cables can cause a fatal electric shock!
Use appropriate safety measures when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). Wear safety goggles.
When laying cables, ensure that they do not get jammed or bent in the tablet stand.
Check that all of the screws are securely in place from time to time (approximately every
3 months). The screws may become loose over time as the tablet stand is moved around.
Do not overtighten the screws. This may damage the threads and reduce the strength of
the tting.
