Adjusting the volume
• Finally, set the volume for the internet radio alarm. For this, go to “Alarm volume”, open it by pressing the OK button
(N) or by pressing the DIAL/SELECT (3) button. Set the desired volume with the two arrow keys (M and 6)
or (G and 6) by turning the DIAL/SELECT (3) knob. The bar shows the current volume.
• Thealarmclockisnowactiveandsetup.Youcannowexitthemenu.Again,usethe (E) button on the remote
control or button (14) of the device.
Switching off the alarm
• If the Internet radio alarm is set, you can stop the alarm by pressing (E) button on the remote control or the
button (14) of the device, or alternatively press the buttons (4) of the device or button (K) on the remote
control to switch off the alarm immediately.
• If it is not stopped, the alarm sounds for up to an hour unless it is stopped. The snooze function can be enabled
during this time.
• Press any button, except one of the buttons (K) on the remote control or the device (4) to active the snooze
function.Thedevicethenstopsthealarmandalarmwillsoundagainafterthesetwaitingtime.Youcanrepeatthis
any number of times under the above-mentioned conditions.
• Youcanofcourseswitchoffthealarmwithoneofthebuttonsmentionedabove,whenthesnoozefunctionisactive,
and no alarm will sound.
• To disable the alarm completely, go to the “Alarm clock” menu and change the enabled alarm “ON” to “OFF”.
Disabling the alarm will not delete the alarm settings.
If the alarm setting Internet radio has been selected, the alarm automatically switches to tone, if the concerned
stationisnotbroadcastingorisnotreceivedintherstminutefromthestartofalarmtime.
i) “My mediaU”
Youcanuseyourcomputertocreateyourownlistoffavouriteinternetradiostationsontheinternet.Proceedas
follows.
• First,enable“MymediaU”.Inthe“Conguration”menugoto“ManagemymediaU”andthenopenit.
• Changethesettingfrom“Disable”to“Enable”.YoucanthenexittheSettingsmenuwiththebutton (B and 11).
“MYmediaU”shouldnowbedisplayedinthemainmenu.
• Open your computer browser and visit "http://www.mediayou.net/web/index.php” (without quotation marks).
• Click “Join Now” to create a user account.
• Once you have created an account, log in and register your Internet radio with the serial number.
• When this is completed, you can now create your own favourites list on the website.
• The radio will automatically sync this list.
