b) Mounting
• The product is equipped with a mounting clip (5) which can be attached e.g. to the sun visor
in the vehicle.
• Always make sure that you can reach the controls without hindrance. Driving safety must not
be impaired. Please also observe the safety instructions.
c) Establishing a Bluetooth
®
connection
• Set the ON/OFF switch (7) to ON to turn on the hands-free set. The status LED ashes
alternately blue and red.
• When establishing a Bluetooth
®
connection between the hands-free set and smartphone for
the rst time, observe a maximum distance of 1 m. Once you have successfully set up the
connection, the devices will pair automatically the next time the unit is switched on.
• Turn on the Bluetooth
®
feature on your smartphone and locate the device “WS101”. Establish
the connection. If your smartphone prompts you to enter a password, enter “0000”. Conrm
the connection with “Yes” or the enter key if prompted by your smartphone.
• After the connection is successful, the status LED lights up blue.
• If the connection is not successful, repeat the above steps.
The hands-free set can only be connected with one Bluetooth
®
device at a time.
Close the current Bluetooth
®
connection to connect a new Bluetooth
®
device to the
hands-free set.
d) Telephone calls
• Press the multifunction button (1) once to answer an incoming call, to switch an outgoing call
to hands-free or to end a call. Make sure that the microphone (6) is not covered.
• Press and hold the multifunction button for approx. 3 seconds to reject an incoming call.
• Press the phone button twice in quick succession to redial the last number dialled.
e) Voice and music playback
• Press the multifunction button once to playback music or speech (e.g. Navigation prompts)
from your smartphone. Press the multifunction button again to pause playback.
• Press the + (4) button to skip to the next song.
• Press the – (3) button to skip to the previous title.
• Press and hold the + button to increase the volume.
• Press and hold the – button to decrease the volume.
Care and cleaning
• Turn off the product before cleaning and disconnect it from the mains.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the housing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
