h) My mediaU
Using your computer, you can create and choose your own favourite lists of Internet radio stations on the Internet.
Proceed as follows:
On your computer, open the web page “http://www.mediayou.net/web/index.php” (without quotes).
Create a user account with your email address and password.
Once you have created the account, log in and register your plug-in radio.
To register the plug-in radio, you need the MAC address (called serial number on the website). These can be found
in the INFORMATION CENTER> SYSTEM INFORMATION> WIRELESS INFO> MAC ADDRESS menu (informa-
tion centre> system information> wireless network info> MAC address).
After log-in and registration of the plug-in radio has been completed, you can create your own favourite lists on
the website.
Activate “MY mediaU”. Navigate to “MANAGE MY mediaU” in the “CONFIGURATION” menu and open it.
Change the setting from “DISABLE” to “ENABLE”.
Exit the setup menu.
The menu item “MY mediaU” is now displayed in the main menu.
The plug-in radio automatically synchronises the data from the web page.
The stations are selected directly via the menu item “MY mediaU” in the main menu.
Further information on the use of the website mediaU can be found directly on the website.
If you make changes to the website, you must synchronise them again with your socket radio. Navigate to
“MANAGE MY mediaU” in the “CONFIGURATION” menu and open it. Click “ENABLE” again.
10. Handling
Never plug the device into a mains socket immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one.
The condensation generated may destroy the product. Before connecting the device to the mains, allow it to reach
room temperature and wait until the condensation has evaporated.
Unplug the device from the mains when you do not plan to use it for an extended period.
For safety reasons, always unplug the device from the mains during thunderstorms.
To ensure sufcient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, air circulation must not be impaired by objects
such as magazines, table clothes and curtains.
