10. Operation

a) General Functions

Switching On/Off

• Switch the power supply on or off with the ON/OFF switch (10).

ON > Power supply is switched on

OFF > Power supply is switched off

• Push the button (5) to switch on the device.

 Afterrstactivation,thedevicewillautomaticallyperformastationscanintheDAB

reception range. During the search, the display (9) shows progress and the number of

stations found.

 Aftercompletionofthestationscan,therststationinthestationlistisplayedback.

If no stations are found, no signal could be received. In this case, move the device

or align the aerial (14) differently, and perform the station scan again. Check if DAB

stations are broadcast in your area.

When switching on again, the device will start up with the last chosen operating mode.

• Push the button (5) again in order to switch off the device again (standby mode).

In standby mode, the display (9) shows the time and date.

Selection of the operating mode

• Press the button MODE (7) with the device switched on in order to switch between DAB

mode, FM mode and playback via the LINE IN (12) port.

Setting the volume

The volume is adjusted via the connected audio system or the active speakers.
