10. Operation
a) General Functions
Switching On/Off
• PushthebuttonPOWER/MODE(1)toswitchonthedevice.
 Afterrstactivation,thedevicewillautomaticallyperformastationscanintheDAB
reception range. During the search, the display (4) shows progress and the number of
stations found.
 Aftercompletionofthestationscan,therststationinthestationlistisplayedback.
If no stations are found, no signal could be received. In this case, move the device
or align the aerial (11) differently, and perform the station scan again. Check if DAB
stations are broadcast in your area.
When switching on again, the device will start up with the last chosen operating mode.
• KeepthebuttonPOWER/MODE(1)pushedinordertoswitchoffthedeviceagain(standby
mode).
In standby mode, the display (4) shows the time and date.
• In order to save energy and to switch off the device entirely, keep the button
POWER/MODE(1)pushedagain.
Selection of the operating mode
• PushthebuttonPOWER/MODE(1)brieywiththedeviceswitchedontoswitchbetween
DAB and FM mode.
Setting the volume
• Turn the dial switch (6) to set the volume.
Turning clockwise > Volume is increased
Turning counter-clockwise > Volume is reduced
