Calling station information
• Push the button MENU (7) briey to display various information on the station you just
listened to in the second line of the display (4).
• Push the MENU button (7) once more to move to the next display.
• The contents of the displayed information depend on the station.
Further operating options can be found in the menu
• Push the button MENU (7) for a longer time to display the menu.
• The following menu items refer to DAB operation.
Full scan Performs a scan (same function as when pushing the button SCAN (5)
Manual tune Manual selection of the transmission frequency with display of the
signal strength
DRC This function compresses playback of sound to make low sounds
better audible at a low volume or loud environment.
There are three compression rates available.
Prune Deletes inactive stations from the station list

Station search
• PushthebuttonPREV.(3)orNEXT(8)briey to change the reception frequency in steps
and manually. Every push of a button changes the reception frequency in steps of 50 kHz.
• PushthebuttonPREV.(3)orNEXT(8) long to start the station scan into the corresponding
direction.
• IfaFMtransmitterwithsufcientlystrongsignalisfound,thescanstopsandthetransmitter
is played back.
Please set weaker stations by manual station selection.
Usethemenutosetiftheautomaticstationscanistondonlystrongstationsorall
stations. Scanning for all stations may lead to the station scan stopping after every
frequency stop in some broadcasting areas. In this case, set the search setting to
strong stations only.
