Inserting/replacing the batteries
A battery is inserted into each lantern upon delivery.
When the battery in one of the lanterns is flat, it must be replaced by a new one.
Proceed as follows:
• Rotate the cover of the battery compartment at the bottom of the lantern in anti-
clockwise direction until the arrow points to “OPEN“. Remove the cover of the bat-
tery compartment from the lantern.
• Take the flat battery out of the battery compartment and dispose of it in an environ-
mentally friendly way.
• Insert a new type “CR2032“ battery into the battery compartment observing the cor-
rect polarity. The positive pole of the battery (marked with “+“) points outwards,
towards you.
• Close the battery compartment, insert the cover and turn it to the right in a clock-
wise direction into the position “OFF“.
Getting started
• The lanterns can be switched on or off by rotating the cover of the battery compart-
ment at the bottom (position “ON“ = switched on, “OFF“ = switched off).
The arrow at the edge of the lantern must point approximately to the centre
of each position.
• Position the stainless steel stand on a flat, horizontal surface and place the lantern
in the opening at the top.
• Place the glass diffuser on the top of the stainless steel stand.
Never place a real candle (tea light) into the stainless steel stand. The glass
diffuser may burst! Risk of injury!
Do not use force when attaching the glass diffuser to the stainless steel
stand as the glass may break.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason. Any maintenance or repair work may be only performed by an authorised

Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as

ing to prevent scratch marks; furthermore, the glass diffuser may break.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
