4. FIRST AID MEASURES
First aid measures
General Advice
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Call a poison control
center or doctor for treatment advice. Have the product container or label with you
when calling a poison control center, doctor, or going for treatment. For
emergency information concerning this product, call the National Pesticides
Information Center (NPIC) at 1-800-858-7378 seven days a week, 6:30 AM to 4:30
PM Pacific time.
Eye Contact
Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove
contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. If eye
irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. If symptoms persist, call a
physician.
Skin Contact
Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical
advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. In the
case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion
Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician.
Self-protection of the first aider
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Use personal protective equipment as
required.
