THE RESCUE!" YELLOWJACKET TRAP PRODUCT INSERT
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its
labeling.
Initial Setup:
1. Place cotton ball into attractant cup.
2. Cut tip of attractant tube and carefully empty attractant liquid onto cotton.
3. Slide cone back into tab channels, snapping into place.
4. Screw bottom cap back in place.
5. Hang trap away from human activity, and at least 20 feet away from a known
yellowjacket nest.
6. Wash hands with soap and water.

REUSING THE TRAP

1. Replace attractant every 2 weeks.
2. Empty trap when rebaiting, or when dead yellowjackets accumulate above
cone.
3. Make sure all yellowjackets are dead before emptying trap.
4. To increase efficiency, clean yellowjacket residue when rebaiting.
Use 2-4 traps for a 10,000 square foot area or 8 to 16 traps per acre. For areas with heavy
infestation, use a maximum of 48 traps per acre.
CAUTION: Due to the extreme effectiveness of the attractant, use caution
when placing and maintaining traps. Place and maintain traps in late evening
or early morning when yellowjackets are less active. People allergic to
yellowjacket stings should allow others to place and maintain traps for them.
Yellowjacket stings can be fatal.
SUPPLEMENTAL ATTRACTANTS
Certain protein and carbohydrate supplements can make the trap more attractive to
yellowjackets foraging for food. Food bait alone, however, will yield smaller and short-lived
catches. The RESCUE!® Yellowjacket Attractant is the primary attractant. The meat spikes
(built into the bottom cap) and attractant cup are for holding supplemental attractants.
Protein - effective throughout the season.
TURKEY HAM - HAM - BRATWURST-BARBECUED MEATS AND FISH
Of these options, we recommend turkey ham because it doesn't spoil quickly and brings
consistently successful results. Roll Vi slice of meat and push through the upright meat
spikes in the bottom cap. Use care not to restrict airflow to the cotton containing the
RESCUE!® Attractant. Meat must be replaced every 1-2 days to prevent it from spoiling.
Carbohydrates - most effective during late summer and fall.
APPLE JUICE (THAWED CONCENTRATE) - COLA BEVERAGES-OVERLY RIPE FRUITS
SYRUPS - FERMENTING FRUIT JUICES (CIDERS AND FRUIT WINES) - JELLIES
Place carbohydrate, then the cotton ball, into cup in trap's bottom cap. Apply the
RESCUE!® Yellowjacket Attractant onto the cotton ball as directed above.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location out of reach of children and pets.
Disposal: Deposit in trash for collection. Wash hands with soap and water.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
ATRAYENTES ADICIONALES
La utilization de este producto de forma contraria a las instrucciones de su etiqueta constituye una
violation de las leyes federates.
Preparation Inicial:
1. Coloque una bola de algodon dentro de la copa para el atrayente.
2. Corte la punta del tubo del atrayente y vierta con cuidado el liquido atrayente sobre el
algodon.
3. Vuelva a colocar el cono deslizandolo sobre los canales para la lengueta hasta que quede
fijo en sulugar.
4. Atornille la tapa inferior de nuevo en su lugar.
5. Cuelgue la trampa lejos de la actividad humana y como minimo a 20 pies de distancia de
unnido deavispas conocido.
6. Lavese las manos con agua y jabon.
REUTILIZACION DE LA TRAMPA
1. Reemplace el atrayente cada 2 semanas.
2. Vacfe la trampa cuando vuelva a colocar cebo o antes de que las avispas muertas se
acumulen por arriba del nivel del cono.
3. Asegurese de que todas las avispas esten muertas antes de vaciar la trampa.
4. Para lograr una mayor eficacia, vacfe los residuos de avispas y limpie la trampa.
CAPACIDAD DE USO
Use de 2 a 4 trampas por cada zona de 10,000 pies cuadrados (929 m2) o de 8 a 16 trampas por acre
(0.4 hectareas). Para zonas de gran infestation, use un maximo de 48 trampas por acre.
PRECAUCION: Debido a la gran efectividad del atrayente, se debe tener precaution
al colocar y mantener las trampas y realice las actividades de mantenimiento en las
mismas al anochecer o muy temprano por la maiiana cuando las avispas son menos
activas. Las personas alergicas a los aguijones de las avispas no deben manipular las
trampas. Las picaduras de avispas pueden resultar fatales.
Se pueden utilizar ciertos complementos de proteinas y carbohidratos para que la trampa sea
mas atractiva para las avispas que buscan alimento. Sin embargo, el cebo por si solo dara como
resultado una menor cantidad de avispas capturadas y durara menos. El atrayente RESCUE!® es
el atrayente principal. Las puntas para carne (integradas en la tapa inferior) y la copa para el
atrayente se utilizan para colocar atrayentes adicionales.
Proteina - Resulta eficaz durante tod a la temporada.
JAMON DE PAVO-JAMON -SALCHICHA DECERDQ - CARNE YPESCADQ A LA PARRILLA
El jamon de pavo es la opcion mas recomendable de las anteriores, ya que no se descompone
tan pronto y brinda resultados satisfactorios de manera consistente. Enrolle media rebanada
de carne e introduzcala en las puntas para carne verticales de la tapa inferior. Tenga cuidado de
no obstruir el flujo de aire hacia el algodon que contiene el atrayente RESCUE!®. Reemplace la
carne cada 1 o 2 dias para evitar que se descomponga.
Carbohidratos - Tienen mayor eficacia durante el verano y el otoho.

JARABES - JUGO DE FRUTAS FERMENTADQ (SIDRA Y VINO AFRUTADO) - JALEAS
Coloque los carbohidratos y despues una bola de algodon en la copa en la tapa inferior de la
trampa. Aplique el atrayente sobre el algodon como se indico anteriormente.
ALMACENAMIENTO Y ELIMINACION
No contamine agua o alimentos para seres humanos o animales al almacenar o eliminar el
producto.
Almacenamiento: Este producto se debe almacenar en un lugar fresco, seco y bien ventilado,
fuera del alcance de los ninos y de las mascotas.
Eliminacion: Deseche el envase en el cubo de la basura para su recoleccion. Lavese las manos
con agua y jabon.
