Introduction

The RF245-2 Wireless Keychain Transmitter is a wireless 4-button transmitter for security system

control. Typical use of this device is for arming and disarming the system, as well as control of lights

and other devices. The transmitter's button layout is shown in Figure 1.

In order to eliminate the possibility of false activations, buttons on the transmitter must be pressed for at least ½ second before the transmitter activates. Successful activation of the transmitter is indicated by a short, bright LED flash. The Wireless Keychain Transmitter uses a small alkaline battery, designed to provide long battery life. Transmitter Programming Each RF245-2 Wireless Keychain Transmitter is shipped with a unique serial number pre-programmed into the transmitter.
