Home Theater Introduction Revel® Concerta™ M8 The Revel® Concerta™ M8 satellite loudspeaker continues the longstanding Revel commitment to accurate sound reproduction. The proprietary transducers utilizing Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) diaphragms, precision dividing networks, sophisticated high-frequency waveguides and rigid enclosures all combine to deliver uncompromising performance in any stereo or multichannel home theater system.
Wall-Mounting the Satellites Speaker Connections Revel Concerta M8 satellites are designed to be used on a bookshelf or tabletop, or they can be mounted on the wall. A wall bracket is included with the M8. Each speaker bracket will require three 1-1/2", #10 wood screws; each screw should be fastened to a wall stud. If a wall stud is unavailable, install an anchor appropriate for a 1-1/2", #10 screw. First, turn off all audio-system power. Use high-quality speaker wire to make your connections.
Operation Surround Modes When using the system in a Dolby® Digital or DTS® home theater system, make sure the receiver or processor is set to “Small” for all M8 loudspeakers. Some receivers/processors offer a choice of crossover frequencies. Select 110Hz as the crossover frequency for all M8 loudspeakers in the system. Some Dolby Digital-equipped receivers/processors offer different setup options for each source or surround mode, e.g., CD-stereo, DVD, Dolby, Pro Logic.
