Mounting the Panoramic Head and Attaching a Camera
The EPH-6 can be used on a tabletop, mounted on a tripod,
or mounted on a slider. To use the panoramic head on a
tripod or slider, follow these steps:
Note: The mounting socket comes with a preinstalled 3/8” to 1/4”
reducer bushing. If the tripod or slider mounting post is 3/8”,
unscrew the bushing to mount the panoramic head.
1. Align the mounting socket of the panoramic head with
the mounting post of a tripod or slider, and carefully
screw the panoramic head onto the mounting post. Make
sure the panoramic head is flush with the base of the
tripod or slider.
2. Use the bubble level to orient the head with the horizon.
Alternate #1: The panoramic head can be mounted onto a
ballhead or a video head. Mount the head onto the tripod or
slider before following the instructions to mount the
panoramic head.
Alternate #2: A ballhead can be placed on top of the
panoramic head, and a camera mounted to the ballhead.
This setup can vary the angle during rotation.
3. Align the camera’s mounting socket with the 1/4
mounting post.
4. Screw the camera onto the panoramic head, and make
sure the bottom of the camera is flush with the rotator.
Operating the Panoramic Head
Note: Make sure that the IR receiver on the panoramic head and
the IR transmitter on the remote are facing each other and there is
