Instructions / Assembly
HEATER/PUMP SYSTEM INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
NOTICE: Water lines should be cleaned and flushed prior
to installing tankless water heater/pump system.
1. Remove the front cover panel of the extended cabinet at
the bottom of the tankless water heater, by removing the two
screws at the bottom. See Figure 2.
2. Mount tankless water heater per instructions provided in
the Use and Care manual. Lower mounting bracket can be
accessed after removing extended cabinet front cover.
3. Connect heater remote control wires per instructions provided in
the Use and Care manual of the water heater.
4. Locate the access holes on both side panels and the bottom
panel. Run the power cords from the tankless water heater and
the pump through access holes to the desired power outlet(s), but
DO NOT plug into the power outlet until installation is complete.
See Figure 3 for the locations of the access holes on the extended
cabinet.
NOTICE: First run power cord wires one by one through the
access holes then route the remaining wires from the remote
control, push button (gray wire, 50 inches long) or receiver
wire (black wire, 25 inches long) later.
NOTICE: If required, the length of the push button wire can
be increased. Extension wire can be any 18 to 22 AWG
wire similar to a thermostat wire and need not be polarity
sensitive. Attach extension wire using appropriate wire nuts.
It is not recommended to have the wires exposed.

NOTICE: If the push button will not be used, be sure to
use electrical tape or wire nuts to isolate the leads on
the gray wire.
INSTALLING THE MANUAL ACTIVATION PUSH BUTTON:
1. Drill a 5⁄8” hole into the desired location for installation of the
push button, typically the side or front of a vanity cabinet.
2. Insert the gray wire with two leads from the pump controller
through the back side of the hole and connect it to the push
button. See Figure 4.
3. Firmly insert the button into the drilled hole.
NOTICE: To operate the pump from other locations
throughout the house, additional push buttons can
be installed and spliced in parallel into the gray wire
provided. Depending on the pipe length and other
conditions, it may take a few minutes to get hot water to
the fixtures after the push button is activated.
