DUPLEX—MAKING TWO-SIDED COPIES
Type 1 requires the optional duplex unit, interchange unit, and 8 MB copier memory
unit is required to use this function.
There are three ways in this function:
1-sided
2-sided
This mode makes two-sided copies
from one-sided originals.
Book
2-sided
This mode makes two-sided copies
from facing pages of a bound orig-
inal (book).
2-sided
2-sided
This mode makes two-sided copies
from two-sided originals.
Limitation
You cannot use the following copy
paper in this function:
Paper smaller than A5, 5

You cannot use the bypass tray
with this function.
The optional copier hard disk is re-
quired to make enhanced-image
copies.

The following paper limitations
apply:
When you make 2-sided copies on
