Chapter 4 Section 2 Creating a Camera Memo List

Using the [ListEditor] Dialog
Box
1. Menu bar
You can edit and save a camera memo and transfer it
to the camera.
2. Toolbar
This bar displays main functions on the menu as icons
for easy use by simply clicking them.
[NEW] button
Pressing this button opens the screen to create a new
camera memo.
[OPEN] button
Pressing this button opens the camera memo list file
saved on the computer.
[SAVE AS] button
Pressing this button saves a camera memo list in the
computer. You can select a mta or csv file type. To use
the file as a camera memo list for the camera, save it
as an mta file.
[CUT], [COPY], and [PASTE] buttons
Pressing these button cuts, copies or pastes the
selected text.
[TRANSFER TO CAMERA] button
Pressing this button transfers a camera memo list to
the TEMPLATE folder in the memory card.
3. [List Title] tab
You can switch between screens for each category
name.
4. [LIST TITLE] box
Enter a list title in this box.
5. [CONTENTS] box
Enter a camera memo in this box.
6. Contents list display field
A list of entered camera memos is displayed.
7. [MOVE UP] button
Pressing this button scrolls the camera memo list one
row upward.
8. [MOVE DOWN] button
Pressing this button scrolls the camera memo list one
row downward.
9. [ADD] button
Pressing this button appends a new camera memo.
10. [EDIT] button
Pressing this button allows you to edit a camera
memo selected in the [Contents] list. (The memo can
be corrected in the [Contents] box.)
11. [DELETE] button
Pressing this button deletes the camera memo
selected in the contents list display field.
• If a camera memo list file of the same name already
exists in the memory card, the file is overwritten.
• •Note that only one camera memo list can be transferred
to the camera for use.
• Note that only one camera memo list can be registered
in an SD memory card.
• If you transfer a camera memo list with a different name
from that in the SD memory card, save the camera
memo list in the SD memory card onto the computer
before transferring.
• A camera memo list will not be deleted even if you for-
mat the memory card using the camera's card formatting
function in the SETUP mode.
Editing a Camera Memo List
To correct the camera memo list stored in the computer,
open the camera memo list by clicking the [OPEN] button,
correct the camera memo list, and overwrite it by clicking
the [SAVE] button.
