If you are using the camera for the first time, read this section.

Set the mode selector to the desired mode before shooting still

images or movies.

Switch the mode selector to the symbol of the

function you want to use.

Symbol Function Description

3 Movie Mode Allows you to shoot movies with sound.

SCN Scene Mode

Allows you to shoot with settings

optimized for the shooting scene. This

also allows you to recall My Settings.

5 Still Image Mode Allows you to shoot still images.
