Follow the procedure below to adjust the brightness of the LCD
monitor when it is hard to see, such as in strong sunlight.
1 Press the DISPLAY button for about 2
seconds.
2 Press the or button to adjust the
brightness of the LCD monitor.
The screen will return to the normal display after
about 2 seconds.

Adjusting the Brightness of the LCD Monitor
• The size (number of pixels)
is displayed on the LCD
monitor as 1600, 1280 or
640.
• If the size is 1280 or 640, the
black frame will be
displayed on the LCD
monitor during recording
and playback.
• The size of motion pictures
is 320 × 240 pixels. It is
displayed on the LCD
monitor as 320.
