Quick Dial
To save time, you can program a fax
number that you use often into a
Quick Dial key. Then, whenever you
are sending a message to that loca-
tion, just press that Quick Dial key to
dial.
Registering
The following procedure describes
how to register fax numbers in Quick
Dial keys. There are 30 Quick Dials
available.
You can register the following items
in each key:
Destination fax number (up to 254
digits)
Destination name (up to 20 charac-
ters)
Label Insertion (whether to print
the destination name on faxes sent
to this number)
Important
We recommend that you print the
Quick Dial list and keep it when
you program or change fax num-
bers. See p.54 Printing Re-
ports/Lists, Advanced Features.
Limitation
When a registered Quick Dial key
is being used for a standby Memo-
ry Transmission, the message "
This Dial is in Use. Cannot
Change.
" is shown and you can-
not change the destination for this
key.
Note
You can confirm fax numbers stored
in Quick Dials on the Quick Dial
List. See p.54 Printing Re-
ports/Lists, Advanced Features.
