Manual Focus Shooting
The manual focus function can be used to manually adjust the focal setting for
subjects difficult to bring into focus with autofocus.
q Set the mode dial to [ ] and press the
MENU button.
The record menu will be displayed.
Note
• To cancel the operation, press the
MENU button.
w Press the ▼ or ▲ button to select
[FOCUS].
e Press the ENTER button to select [MF]
and press the MENU button.
The manual focus function is now set.
r Press the ▼ or ▲ button to focus on the
subject and press the shutter release
button to take the picture.
To vary the size of the subject on the LCD
monitor, press the ▲ (
) or ▼ ( ) button
with the shutter release button lightly pressed.
How To Cancel the Manual Focus Mode
Follow the above procedures and select [AF] in step e.
