NOTE: If the burner doesn’t remain lit, wait 30 seconds
and repeat the starting steps, making sure the gas valve
button is pressed immediately after it begins flashing
green and held until the LED displays a solid green to
lock the gas valve in the on position. If it still fails to ignite,
check fuel level in the propane cylinder.
NOTE: A solid red LED indicates a fault condition. Contact
Customer Service for assistance.
To stop:
Press the on/off button. The heater will automatically shut
down.
Turn the handwheel on the propane cylinder to the fully
off position.
Remove the regulator and propane hose from the propane
cylinder and replace the cap on the cylinder.
Remove the power cord or battery from the unit.
To restart:
Allow the unit to cool for 5 minutes.
Follow the steps under Starting/Stopping the Heater.
NOTICE:
The unit may relight immediately if the on/off but-
ton is pressed less than 5 minutes after shutdown
and the gas valve hasn’t had sufficient time to
cool completely. Make sure the heater is placed in
a safe position before pressing the on/off button.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
See Figure 8, page 13.
The temperature control adjusts from 30,000 to 60,000 BTU.
To increase the temperature, turn the temperature control
knob clockwise.
For a lower temperature, turn the temperature control
knob counterclockwise.
AUTO SHUT OFF
The gas valve will automatically shut off during any of the
following conditions:
Flame out — If the propane tank is empty or the flame is
accidently extinguished.
Over temperature — If the flow of air becomes blocked
or the temperature inside the unit is too high, the unit will
automatically shut off and the LED will flash orange.
NOTE: A flashing orange LED indicates an operation error.
Make sure air flow is not restricted. Turn off the unit and
restart.
Low voltage — such as a power outage or a low battery.
STORAGE
Always remove the propane cylinder, propane hose and
regulator, battery pack, and/or power cord from the unit when
storing. Reinstall the rubber protector cap to the propane
inlet to avoid damage and prevent debris or insects from
entering the gas line. Always store the unit indoors.
