RIDGID ON-SITE STORAGE EQUIPMENT

WARNING

–ATTENTION–

To prevent electric shock, explosion, re and/or serious

personal injury when using storage chest with:

Extension Cord -

• Follow all Extension Cord manufacturer’s Warnings

and Instructions.

• After removing knock-out, insert RAPID PASS

rubber

grommet. Do NOT insert extension cord through hole

without grommet in place (see gure 8, on page 3).

• Only use a three-wire extension cord with all three prongs

intact. Never remove the round grounding prong.

• Extension cord must be connected to a 120 Volt GFCI

protected outlet with proper ground. If GFCI outlet is

not available, use an extension cord with GFCI protection

built in.

• Check the insulation and plugs of extension cord before

using. Do NOT use cord if it is worn or damaged.

• Do NOT overload extension cord.

• Remove extension cord from the RAPID PASS

hole before

moving or transporting storage chest.

• Only use an extension cord that is rated for outdoor use.

• Do NOT connect extension cord to outlet that also supplies

critical safety equipment with power.

Cordless Power Tool Battery Chargers -

• See Charger’s Owner’s Manual for proper use and care of

charger and batteries. Follow all Warnings and Instructions

provided with your battery charger.

• Place chargers and electrical connections in tray.

• Chargers are Dry location use only. Do NOT expose to

liquid, vapor, or rain. Should your charger become wet, Do

NOT attempt to use. Unplug extension cord from supply

before handling wet charger or cords.

• Only use chargers and batteries that are intact and

operating properly.

• Do NOT touch metal prongs when plugging charger into

extension cord.

• Keep ammable materials like paper or rags away from

charger, cords or connections.

• Do NOT place or attempt to charge lead acid, car type

batteries in storage chest.

WARNING

Any modication or unintended use of this product shall

immediately void all manufacturers warranties. Manufacturer

disclaims all liability for injuries to persons or property result-

ing from any modication to, or unintended use of this product.

PADLOCK INFORMATION- Padlock with 7/8”–1” shackle height (figure 3) (recommended Master No 5 or equivalent, not included). Figure 3 (measure height when lock is closed) 3. DAMPENING SPRING REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS TOOLS REQUIRED - Small flate blade screwdriver 1. Make sure the cover support on the left side of the cover is locked so cover cannot fall (figure 10). 2. Using a small screwdriver, insert the screwdriver blade into the notch and under the spring clip (figure 11). Pry the clip up until the ball stud is released, and pull the spring away. (figure 12) Repeat this process for the bottom clip.

INSTRUCCIONES DE REMOCIÓN DEL AMORTIGUADOR HERRAMIENTAS NECESARIAS - Destornillador pequeño de pala plana 1. Verifique que el soporte de la tapa, ubicado en el lado izquierdo de la tapa, éste trancado de modo que la tapa no pueda caer (figura 10). 2. Utilizando un destornillador pequeño, inserte la pala del destornillador en la ranura y debajo del sujetador del amortiguador (figura 11). Levante el sujetador haciendo palanca hasta que el perno tipo bola quede liberado, y retire el amortiguador.

INFORMATIONS DE CADENAS – Cadenas à anse de 22,2 à 25,4 mm, voir en figure 3 (Master N° 5 recommandé, ou équivalent, non inclus). 1. Ouvrez votre cadenas, et passer l’étrier sur l’anse de cadenas. 2. INSTRUCTIONS DE DÉPOSE DE RESSORTS D’AMORTISSEMENT OUTILS NÉCESSAIRES – Petit tournevis à lame plate 1. Assurez-vous que le support du couvercle du côté gauche est bien verrouillé pour éviter la chute du couvercle (figure 10). 2. Introduisez la lame du petit tournevis dans l’encoche et sous l’agrafe à ressort (figure 11). Forcez l’agrafe vers le haut jusqu’à ce que le goujon à rotule soit dégagé, et sortez le ressort (figure 12). Recommencez le processus pour l’agrafe inférieur.
