Appendix C: General Care and Cleaning
General Care
Do not store or leave the instrument in the place where LCD screen can be exposed
to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the instrument or probes, do not expose
them to sprays, liquids, or solvents.
Cleaning
Check the instrument frequently according to the operation conditions; follow the
steps below to clean the exterior surface of the instrument:
1. Wipe the dust on the outside of the instrument with a lint-free cloth.
2. Use a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the instrument. Please cut off the
power. To avoid damage to the surface of the instrument, do not use any
abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Warning: To avoid any short-circuit or body damage because of the
moisture, make sure that the instrument is dry before
restarting.
