Syntax
[:SOURce[<n>]]:SWEep:HTIMe:STARt {<seconds>|MINimum|MAXimum}
[:SOURce[<n>]]:SWEep:HTIMe:STARt? [MINimum|MAXimum]
Description
Sets the start hold time of the sweep function of the specified channel.
Queries the start hold time of the sweep function of the specified channel.
Parameter
Name
Type
Range
Default
[<n>]
Discrete
1|2
1
<seconds>
Real
0 s to 500 s
0 s
Remarks
Start hold is the duration that the output signal outputs with the "Start Frequency"
(
[:SOURce[<n>]]:FREQuency:STARt) after the sweep starts. After the start hold time expires, the
generator will continue outputting with varied frequencies according to the current sweep type.
When [:SOURce[<n>]] or [<n>] is omitted, the system sets the related parameters of CH1 by default.
The generator will restart to sweep and output from the specified "Start Frequency" once the Start
Hold time is modified.
Return Format
The query returns the start hold time in scientific notation, with 7 effective digits. For example,
1.000000E+00 (the start hold time is 1 s).
Example
:SOUR1:SWE:HTIM:STAR 1 /*Sets the start hold time of the sweep function of CH1 to 1 s.*/
:SOUR1:SWE:HTIM:STAR? /*Queries the start hold time of the sweep function of CH1 and the query
returns 1.000000E+00.*/
