RIGOL Chapter 13 Signal Source
13-6 MSO1000Z/DS1000Z User’s Guide
To Output Noise
Press Src1Conf to open the waveform setting menu. Press Wave and select “Noise”.
At this point, you can output a noise signal with the specified amplitude, offset and
impendance.
1. Source 1 output
Press Output to turn on or off the signal output.
2. Set the amplitude
Press Amplitude to set the amplitude of the signal. For the setting method,
please refer to the introduction in “
Parameter Setting Method”. When the
impedance is set to HighZ, the range is from 20 mVpp to 5 Vpp; when the
impedance is set to 50 Ω, the range is from 10 mVpp to 2.5 Vpp.
3. Set the offset
Press Offset to set the DC offset of the noise signal. For the setting method,
please refer to the introduction in “
Parameter Setting Method”. When the
impedance is HighZ, the range is from (-2.5 V+the current amplitude/2) to (2.5
V-the current amplitude/2); when the impedance is set to 50 Ω, the range is from
(-1.25 V+the current amplitude/2) to (1.25 V-the current amplitude/2).
To Output Built-in Waveform
MSO1000Z/DS1000Z series oscilloscope provides 7 kinds of built-in waveforms,
including Sinc, ExpRise, ExpFall, ECG, Gauss, Lorentz and Haversine. Press
Src1Conf to open the waveform setting menu. Press Wave and select “Built-in”. At
this point, you can set the output signal parameters according to the type of the
built-in waveform selected.
1. Source 1 output
Press Output to turn on or off the signal output.
2. Select built-in waveform
Press Built-In to select any of the 7 built-in waveforms (as shown in the figures
below).
