Delay Calibration
When using an oscilloscope for actual measurement, the transmission delay of the
probe cable may bring relatively greater error (zero offset). DS2000A allows users to
set a delay time to calibrate the zero offset of the corresponding channel. Zero offset
is defined as the offset of the crossing point of the waveform and trigger level line
relative to the trigger position, as shown in the figure below.
Press CH1 Delay-Cal and use to set the desired delay time. The range
available is from -200 ns to 200 ns.
Note: This parameter is related to the instrument model and the current horizontal
scale setting. The larger the horizontal scaleis, the larger the scale will be.
