Press BaseBand ARB to enter the store and recall interface. At this point,
"You can load the ARB files" is displayed in the user interface. Press the right
arrow key to unfold the current directory and select the ARB file (namely
wavetable file; the format is *.arb) to be loaded. Then, press Recall to load this
file. "File loading succeeded" is displayed after the file is loaded. For more
information about how to load a file, please refer to "
Store and Recall".
Tip:
The loadable ARB files should be edited and downloaded to DSG800 using the
Ultra IQ Station PC software. For more information about how to download
the ARB file, please refer to
Ultra IQ Station_Help Document
.
4. Clock Frequency
Press BaseBand Clock Freq; you can use the numeric keyboard or knob to
modify the clock frequency of ARB output.
The units available are GHz, MHz, kHz and Hz.
You can press Backspace to delete the number at the left of the cursor.
You can press the left/right arrow key to enter the parameter editing state
and move the cursor to the specified digit; then, rotate the knob to modify
the parameter value.
You can also rotate the knob to modify the clock frequency at the current
step.
You can press Step to set the step.
Note: When loading the ARB file, this value will be automatically set to the clock
frequency defined for the current ARB file.
5. Trigger
1) Trigger Mode
Select the trigger mode of the I/Q modulation baseband output.
Press Trig Mode to select "Auto", "Key", "Bus" or "Ext".
Auto Trigger
This is the default mode. The RF signal generator fulfills the trigger
condition at any time and outputs the I/Q baseband signal
continuously.
Key Trigger
When "Key" trigger mode is selected, the instrument will output the
baseband signal each time Key Trig is pressed.
Bus Trigger
When "Bus" trigger mode is selected, the instrument will output the
