SÉCURITÉ CONCERNANT LES PILES

Les piles au lithium livrées avec cet appareil ne sont pas rechargeables. Ne pas

ouvrir, démonter, plier, déformer, percer, ni découper les piles. Ne pas modiﬁer

les piles, ne pas essayer d’insérer des corps étrangers dans les piles et ne pas

immerger les piles dans de l’eau ni dans d’autres liquides. Ne pas exposer les

piles à une ﬂamme, à une explosion, à une température élevée ni à tout autre

danger. Les incendies impliquant des piles au lithium peuvent généralement

être maîtrisés par une inondation avec de l’eau, sauf dans les espaces conﬁnés

où un agent d’étouement doit être utilisé.

Si une pile tombe et vous pensez qu’elle est endommagée, prendre les

précautions nécessaires pour éviter toute ingestion ou tout contact direct

des liquides ou d’autres matériaux de la pile avec la peau ou les vêtements. Si

une pile fuit, retirer toutes les piles et les recycler ou les jeter conformément

battery is stuck in a child’s oesophagus (food pipe). There are no speciﬁc symp-

• have a pain in their abdomen, chest or throat;

• be tired or lethargic;

• be quieter or more clingy than usual or otherwise “not themselves”;

• lose their appetite or have a reduced appetite; and

• not want to eat solid food / be unable to eat solid food.

BATTERY SAFETY

Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard. This product contains coin batter-

ies. If the coin battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2

hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children.

If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and

keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or

placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

The lithium coin batteries accompanying this device cannot be recharged. Do

not open, disassemble, bend, deform, puncture, or shred the battery. Do not

modify, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery or immerse or expose

to water or other liquids. Do not expose the battery to ﬁre, explosion, high

temperature or other hazard. Fires involving lithium batteries can usually be

controlled with ﬂooding with water, except in conﬁned spaces where a smoth-

ering agent should be used.

If dropped and you suspect damage, take steps to prevent any ingestion or

direct contact of ﬂuids and any other materials from the battery with skin or

clothes. If a battery leaks, remove all batteries and recycle or dispose of them

in accordance with battery manufacturer’s recommendations. If ﬂuid or other
