INSPECTION
To maintain opmum performance,
periodically inspect the air lter.
If the air lter appears to have lint and/or dust
build up, follow the cleaning procedure
described below.
If the air lter appears damaged, contact a
trained and qualied professional for a
replacement air lter assembly.
CLEANING
1. Power OFF the water heater
Push the On/Obuon located on the
right-hand side of the controller.
The display will go blank when the power is o.
2. Remove the front panel.
Remove the 4 screws securing the front panel.
Remove the front panel and locate the lter at
the upper right-hand corner of the water
heater.
Remove the air lter by pulling out the FILTER
Pull to Cleantab.

3. Clean the Air Filter
With mild dish soap and a so bristle brush,
scrub the lter area of the air lter door.
With clean water, rinse the soap o the lter.
4. Dry the Air Filter
With a lint free towel, dry the air lter.
5. Inspect and Replace the Air Filter
Inspect the air lter for any debris that may
restrict air ow to the water heater.
If the lter sll appears dirty repeat the cleaning
steps.
Replace the air lter.
6. Power ON the water heater.
NOTE: Do not operate this water heater if the
air lter is not in place.
