This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service agency in

accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and

requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. If the information in these

instructions is not followed exactly, a fire, explosion or production of carbon

monoxide may result causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life.

The qualified service agency is responsible for the proper installation of this

kit. The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the

converted appliance is checked as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions

supplied with the kit.

Conversion Procedure CAUTION The gas supply shall be shut off prior to disconnecting the electrical power, before proceeding with the conversion. Confirm that the inlet gas pressure is between the minimum and maximum pressures allowed for this appliance. 1. Remove 2 screws that hold the front panel in place. 2. Pull panel forward from the top of unit out about 3 inches. Reach inside electrical compartment and unplug the indicator lamp assembly. Lift panel up and set it off the unit.

Adjust Gas Pressure Settings CAUTION CAUTION Do not touch any other areas on the PC board besides the “SW” switches while power is supplied to the appliance. Parts of the PC board are supplied with 120 volts AC. Do not insert hands or objects into the circulation fans while they are running. Injury or mechanical malfunction may occur. CAUTION Do not touch the areas at or near the exhaust. This area becomes very hot and could cause burns. 1. Turn off the gas and the power supply. 2.

Adjust Gas Pressure Settings memory. Press the SW1 switch twice. 10. The LED will display “PH” indicating high fire mode. 11. Compare the pressure reading on the manometer to the correct table for your gas type. If necessary adjust the high fire pressure using the ▲ and ▼ buttons. Press the Economy switch to record into memory. 12. The LED will display two digits - a “7” and another number. Ajustage et Reglage de la Presion de Gas ATTENTION ATTENTION Ne pas toucher aucuns autres secteurs sur le conseil de PC outre les commutateurs de « SW » pendant que le pouvoir est fourni à l'appareil. Les parties du conseil de PC sont fournies avec 120 volts. 1. Arrêtez l'alimentation de gaz et d'énergie. 2. Retirez le taraud de test 1/8 NPT avec une clé à 6 pans de 3/16 et raccordez le manomètre de pression. 3. Allumer le gaz et l'alimentation à l'appareil.

Ajustage et Reglage de la Presion de Gas 11. Comparer la pression lisant sur le manomètre aux Données Techniques, la pression de test diverse haut, pour le gaz étant utilisé. Si nécessaire ajuster l'haute pression de feu utilisant le ▲ et ▼ boutons. Appuyer le Economy commutateur. 12. L'affichage montrera à deux chiffres - un « 7 » et un autre numéro. Si l'affichage montre autre chose avec Rinnai pour assistance (1-800-6219419). 13. Appuyer l'interrupteur encore.
