StateofMassachuses:The installaon must be made by a licensed plumber or gas fier in the Commonwealth
of Massachuses.
Sellers of unvented propane or natural gas‐fired supplemental room heaters are to provide to the purchaser a
copy of 527 CMR 30 at the me of sale of the unit.
In the State of Massachuses, unvented propane and natural gas‐fired space heaters are prohibited in
bedrooms and bathrooms.
It is the responsibility of the installer prior to the purchase/installaƟon of this product to ensure that the
product, sizing, and installaon meets all local codes (state, county, city).
NOTICE
The installaon must conform with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the Naonal Fuel Gas
Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, or the Natural Gas and Propane Installaon Code, CSA B149.1. If installed in a
manufactured home, the installaon must conform with the Manufactured Home Construcon and Safety
Standard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280 and/or CAN/SCA Z240 MH Series, Mobile Homes.
