Devices such as the room thermostat and outdoor temperature sensor are connected to the boiler
PC Board.
□
Conrm that the electricity is supplied from a 120 VAC, 60 Hz power source and is in a
properly grounded circuit.
□
Conrm that an extension cord or adapter plug has NOT been used with the boiler.
□
Conrm connecon terminals are connected correctly.
PC Board
• Rinnai recommends the use of spade connectors or similar
components for wiring to the screw terminals.
• Ensure that the insulaon of the wire is not exposed to
contact any other components besides the terminal.
• If exposed wiring contacts to any other exposed wiring or
metal components, an electrical short may occur and cause
damage to the PCB or other connected components.
• Use proper size of screwdriver for prevenng the screw on
the terminal from breaking.
• Do not use an electric or torque screwdriver for wiring on
the PC Board.
• Wiring should pass through the grommets provided at the
boom of the boiler.
• Use the proper diameter and size of wiring.
