74 Rinnai I-Series Condensing Boiler Solo Manual
IMPORTANT
• On inial startup of the system, it is necessary to put the boiler into a deaeraon process to
remove all air from the system piping and boiler. Failure to properly deaerate the boiler
and system may result in damage to the boiler, which is not covered by the boiler
warranty.
• It can take up to a week before all the air has disappeared from a newly-lled and
pressurized installaon. During the rst week of operaon, noises can be heard which
indicate the presence of air. The automac air vent in the boiler and air separator in the
heang system will remove the air, which means the water pressure will reduce some
during this period; therefore, addional water is necessary to maintain proper pressure in
the heang system. Water pressure needed for operaon:
− The boiler is in normal operaon between 17 - 26 PSI.
− Below 7.3 PSI, the boiler will have an error code (E430 diagnosc code will be present
on the controller display) and will not operate. Increasing the heang system water
pressure is necessary for operaon.
− Between 7.3 - 13 PSI, operaon will be limited (E430 diagnosc code will be present
on the controller display).
− The maximum pressure permied inside the heat exchanger is 45 PSI.
− The pressure relief valve supplied with the boiler is rated to 30 PSI.
