Range Overview - Flued Heaters
Flued Heaters utilise ueing to ensure there are no indoor emissions. They can oer powerful heat output and there are many
energy ecient product varieties. Flued heaters utilise 2 forms of heating - Convection heat or Radiant and Convection heat.

Important Installation Guidelines - Flued Heaters
All Flued gas heaters must be installed by a licensed plumber/gas tter.
Other guidelines for Flued heaters include:
• It is mandatory to use Rinnai proprietary ueing for all Rinnai Energysaver® heaters.
Use of unauthorised
ueing will not only compromise performance and void warranty, but could have serious safety related
consequences
• All Flued Space Heaters (Ultima II, Spectrum & 2001) use standard ‘o-the-shelf’ ueing components
supplied by the installer
• Room sizing is only dependant on the heat load required
• If in doubt, it is best to slightly oversize a Flued Heater and let the thermostat do its work
• Installation of Flued Heaters is limited to the exibility of the ueing system and therefore heaters cannot
always be positioned where desired
• Some States of Australia require that a certicate of compliance is given to the end-user for both new
and changeover installations
• All installations of Flued gas heaters must comply with the Australian Standard AS5601 – Gas Installations
