Technical Bullen 151 - Ubbink Flexible Venng for M-Series Boilers
PURPOSE: To announce the approval of Ubbink Rolux® exible vent system components with the following Rinnai
M-Series Boiler models:
Combi Solo
M060C
M090C
M120C
M160C
M060S
M090S
M120S
M160S
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:
Vent Opons Room Air (Non-Direct Vent) applicaons ONLY.
NOT approved for outside combuson air (Direct Vent).
Diameter 2 in. (60 mm)
Material Polypropylene (PP)
DO NOT combine vent components from dierent manufacturers.

Terminaon Vercal only. DO NOT run or terminate horizontally as condensate will not drain properly.
Bending Condions • Bend radius: Must be larger than 7 in. (178 mm) (Figure 1)
• Angle: Do not install in angle over 45° to vercal (Figure 2)
Clearances 0 (zero) clearance to combusble materials.

Temperatures
Do not install while ambient temperatures are below 41°F (5°C). In colder weather, pre-warm
ex venng prior to installaon.

Requirements
• Vent system connects to only one Rinnai M-Series Boiler.
• Ubbink Rolux® venng components must be used throughout the enre vent system.
Do not combine with vent components from other manufacturers.
• Do not store venng exposed to sunlight.
• Venng must be enclosed and used with a rigid PP pipe to connect to the boiler (Figure 3
on next page).
Approvals/Codes Installaon must conform to the Rinnai Installaon and Operaon Manual that is shipped with
the unit, local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the Naonal Fuel Gas Code, ANSI
Z223.1/NFPA 54.
