1. Disconnect electrical power supply.
2. Turn o gas supply.
3. Remove 4 screws securing the front panel. Remove front panel. For indoor units, remove the controller bracket.
4. Locate leak sensing element at boom of unit .
5. Remove 1 screw (sensing element) from sensor bracket.
6. Install 1 screw (shorter sensing element) into sensor bracket.
7. For indoor units install controller bracket. Install front panel using 4 screws to secure it.
8. Turn on gas supply.
9. Connect electrical power supply
10. Test unit.
In applications where excessive moisture is present in the environment, condensate may form at the bottom of the
unit causing nuisance code 79s (Leak Detection). In such applications it may be necessary to install a modified
sensing element to eliminate the nuisance codes.
