Visual inspection of the fl ame
The burner must fl ame evenly over the entire surface when operating correctly. The
fl ame must burn with a clear, blue, stable fl ame.
Check the fl ame through the inspection glass in the ignition probe (fi g. 34).
The fl ame pattern should be as shown in the fi gures below.
SATISFACTORY

Further checks:
- Inspect the pressure relief valve
- Clean the water fi lter in the return pipe
- Check the pH of the water or glycol/water mixture.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
