Connect the Control-R™ Wi-Fi Module cable to the controller cable (located in clear, plasc bag) using wire nuts
or other approved wire connectors.
5.
Connect the controller cable to the mang terminal at the boom right side of the water heater PC Board
(through the grommet portal on the boom right side of the unit).
6.
Replace and ghten the four (4) screws on the water heater front panel.

Final Steps:
• Plug in the water heater power cord.
• Turn on the water heater by pressing the “On/O” buon on the controller.
• Reference the “Control-R™ Wi-Fi Module Installaon Manual” for addional installaon and conguraon
instrucons.
