What is covered?
The Rinnai Standard Limited Warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship when the product is
installed and operated according to Rinnai wrien installaon instrucons, subject to the terms within this Limited
Warranty document. This Limited Warranty applies only to products that are installed correctly in the United States
and Canada. Improper installaon may void this Limited Warranty. In order for this warranty to apply, it is required
that you use a licensed professional who has aended a Rinnai installaon training class before installing this water
heater. This warranty coverage applies to residenal installaons only, not for commercial applicaons, (any
installaon other than a single family dwelling). This Limited Warranty coverage as set out in the table below extends
to the original purchaser and subsequent owners, but only while the product remains at the site of the original
installaon. This Limited Warranty only extends to the rst / original installaon of the product and terminates if the
product is moved or reinstalled at a new locaon.
How long does coverage last?
What will Rinnai do?
Rinnai will repair or replace the covered product or any part or component that is defecve in materials or
workmanship as set forth in the above table. Rinnai will pay reasonable labor charges associated with the repair or
replacement of any such part or component during the term of the labor warranty period. All repair parts must be
genuine Rinnai parts. All repairs or replacements must be performed by a licensed professional that is properly
trained, state qualied or licensed to do the type of repair.
Replacement of the product may be authorized by Rinnai only at its sole discreon. Rinnai does not authorize any
person or company to assume for it any obligaon or liability in connecon with the replacement of the product. If
Rinnai determines that repair of a product is not possible, Rinnai may replace the product with a comparable product
at Rinnai’s sole discreon. The warranty claim for product parts and labor may be denied if a component or product
returned to Rinnai is found to be free of defects in material or workmanship; damaged by improper installaon, use
or operaon; or damaged during return shipping .

Limited Warranty for RUCS65i, RUS65e, RUCS75i, & RUS75e Value Series Water Heater
*1+ Period of coverage is reduced to 3 years from date of purchase when used as a recirculang water heater
within a hot water recirculaon loop, where the water heater is in series with a recirculaon system and all
recirculang water ows through the water heater, and where an aquastat / thermostat, mer, or an
on-demand recirculaon system is not incorporated.
*2+ The Rinnai Limited Warranty for a heat exchanger used in a recirculaon system which is controlled through
an aquastat / thermostat, or mer, or an on-demand system is 12 years for residenal applicaons.
