Quick Start Guide
This Quick Start Guide introduces the adapter board accessory from element14 for use with the RIoTboard. This adapter is
intended to provide interconnectivity interfacing between the RIoTboard and supported accessory types.

Setting up the System*
1. The RIoTboard Adapter plugs into the RIoTboard’s 40-
pin J13 expansion connector as shown in the image to
the right. Make sure to disconnect power from the
RIoTboard before inserting this adapter or any other
accessory.
2. The RIoTboard Adapter can accept a variety of
supported accessory types. An example showing an
accessory connected to the RIoTboard Adapter
connected to the RIoTboard is shown at the right.
Make sure power is disconnected before adding or
removing any accessory or the adapter itself.
Supported accessory types include:
 Arduino

UNO R3
 MikroE mikroBUS
TM
 Raspberry Pi
TM
(A/B/B+)
 Pmod
TM
(Type 2/2A)
