IC Card Authentication Kit II Safety Information
Safety Precautions
This information describes the items that should be followed for safe use
of this product. Be sure to read this information before using the product.

To use the product properly and to prevent human injury and damage to

Installation Location
Place the equipment on a at or stable surface.
Do not place the equipment in a dusty or humid location.

Handling
Do not place water containers or metallic objects on the
equipment. If water drips inside the equipment or a metallic
object drops inside it, a re or an electric shock might occur.
Do not disassemble or rebuild the equipment by yourself.
Otherwise, a re or an electric shock might occur.
If something drops inside the equipment, immediately unplug the
USB cable from the printer and contact your service
representative. Continued use might result in a re or an electric
shock.
If the equipment emits excessive heat, smoke or foul odor,
immediately unplug the USB cable from the printer and contact
your service representative. Continued use might result in a re or
an electric shock.
If the equipment is damaged, immediately unplug the USB cable
from the printer and contact your service representative.
Continued use might result in a re or an electric shock.
Do not damage or rebuild the USB cable. Placing a heavy object
on the cable or pulling or forcibly bending the cable may damage
the cable, resulting in a re or an electric shock.
Cautions For Use
RISO shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by the
malfunction, incorrect operation and fault of this product or
external factor such as a power failure.
