It cannot be used with 120 volt heating systems.
MENU screen PG 3 Displayed when the MENU button is pressed from the HOME screen. Set Day Touch this area to set the day of the week. Temperature Swing set Filter Timer set Chirp set Touch this to turn the audible chirp on or off. Lock Program Touch for 5 sec to lock or unlock Return HOME Set o C-F o Set Time Touch this area to set the time of day. Left arrow goes back, right arrow goes forward.
PG 5 The Mode Switch must be in HEAT or COOL mode to configure. • Press MENU, from the home screen, to configure the thermostat. • Set day of the week Touch the Day of the week area to cycle through the days of the week to select the current day. 1 Configure • Set time of day Touch the Time of Day arrows to move the time selection forward or backward until it displays the current time. Touch and hold for faster setting. • Set C - F display Touch the F and it will toggle to o Backward Forward o o C.
PG 7 NOTE: 60 Second Rule-During programming, if a button is not pushed in 60 seconds, the unit will return to the home screen. Everything you have changed while programming will be saved. 3 Program Press PROGRAM, from the HOME screen, to go to the program screen Select HEAT with the HEAT/COOL MODE switch Select the PROGRAM (A or B) you want to set • Touch the PROGRAM icon to select A or B. NOTE: program A has 4 time slots, B can have 2 or 6 time slots.
MANUAL override screen PG 9 The 8085c has 3 manual override commands. These are accessed by touching the Current Temp Display at the HOME screen (center of screen). HOLD Touch this area to set a comfortable target temp for the system to hold until you return and remove HOLD. Target Temperature Return HOME EMER -For HEAT PUMP users only- Touch this to engage auxiliary heat source. Manual Override indicator shows when a temporary override has been made.
4 Special Features PG 11 Swing Swing setting determines the temperature difference from ON to OFF that the thermostat will command the HVAC system to run. • With the MODE switch in HEAT or COOL, press the MENU button. • Touch the SWING icon and the current setting of temp swing is shown on the display (default at 3 ). • To change the swing, touch the left or right arrows. The furnace will cycle more at lower numbers, keeping temperture more constant. To complete the swing setting, push the HOME button.
4 Special Features cont. On the HOME screen, the humidity in the room is HUMIDITY displayed. This thermostat can control the humidity level with the proper equipment installed in the HVAC system. Maximum Humidity setting (Requires air conditioning and COOL mode)This thermostat can be used to de-humidify by turning on the air conditioning as a function of humidity. Cooler air cannot hold as much moisture. To set the MAX humidity level desired • From the MENU screen and touch MAX.
