This manual covers basic operation of the
Quick Talk
TM
Wireless Voice Monitor and
Alarm. For most applications, this is all the
information you will need. More complex
features of Quick Talk
TM
are explained in the
Advanced Features Section of this manual.

MPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION ............
NOTICE: The Quick Talk
TM
unit should not
be used to report conditions relating to safety
of life or property.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or
personal injury, follow these basic safety
instructions when using this unit.
1. Read and follow all instructions.
2. Disconnect the unit before cleaning. Do
not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
3. Use only approved power sources for
the unit.
4. During thunderstorms, avoid contact
with this unit and any external antenna
system or wiring.
5. The Quick Talk
TM
switch and external
power terminals are connected internally
to the antenna connector. If the Quick
Talk
TM
switch or power supply terminals
contact high voltage, a hazardous
condition may exist in that contacting
the antenna could prove injurious or
even fatal.
6. In general, the switches you connect to
the Quick Talk
TM
are to be independent
dry contact switches, and not part of any
other “live” electrical circuit
7. If you are unsure whether your
installation will be safe, contact an
experienced electrician or electronics
technician.
