ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Note: The diagram illustrates the installation of your new luminary.
This is a representative drawing and is not
intended to match the style of your luminary.
1. Carefully layout all parts in a line on a smooth surface.
2. Begin the assembly of the lamp at the base and proceed
upward to the shade.
3. Screw the lower stem onto the base bottom clockwise
until secure.
4. Assemble the next section of middle stem by screw onto
top of lower stem until secure.
5. Turn the upper stem counter clockwise several times in
order to avoid damage to the center cord and then screw
the upper stem onto the middle stem.
6. Screw the threaded pipe onto the top of the housing box.
7. Attach the shade to the threaded pipe then secure with
finial (do not over tighten)
8. Install E26*Type A *2*60W Max (not included) or
9. E26*CFL bulb*2*13W (not included).
Caution: Refer to the wattage caution label located near the
lamp holder for recommended maximum wattage, do not
exceed recommended wattage.
10. Insert plug into wall receptacle
Warning: Do not attempt to replace the bulb while the lamp is plugged into a wall
receptacle.
Important Safety Instructions
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety
feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit
it, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can
be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
Note: This stained glass product has been protected with mineral oil as part of
the finishing process. Please use a soft dry cloth to remove any excess oil.
