5. Accessories 
RME offers several optional components for the ADI-6432: 
Digital Breakout Cables, one side 25-pin D-sub, the other side split to 4 x XLR male + 4 x XLR 
female. For addressing all 32 AES I/Os eight cables are required.

Digital Connection Cables, both sides 25-pin D-sub. These cables are wired internally for 
direct connection of devices having digital I/Os with Tascam pinout. For example the HDSP 
AES-32, the OctaMic or the ADI-4DD can be connected directly to the ADI-6432.

The BOB-32 is a universal AES breakout box. It consists of a foldable 19“ enclosure with 1 unit 
height. The front panel has 8 female and 8 male XLR sockets. The device supports digital con-
nection cables using Tascam and Yamaha pinout. To use all AES-I/Os of the ADI-6432 com-
fortably and safely within a rack, four BOB-32 and eight digital connection cables are required.
